Even though sleep is apparently a period of freedom, in which the laws and codes of the rational do not work, and it is the subconscious that manifests itself, it is still a territory of conflict and control. For different cultures, the dream world is a universe as tangible as the waking world which embodies what we understand, in the West, as reality; for Shamans, people of knowledge and other subjects who communicate with the invisible worlds, the dream state is a universe full of information, not only personal but also collective.

This exhibition, which arises from the work of Gloria Sebastián Fierro and Julián Dupont, who use dreams as a material for contact and research, is an attempt to explore the relationships of their practices and their intention to generate a more sensitive contact between all beings and the multiple realities that can be inhabited.

Aunque el sueño es un periodo aparentemente de libertad, en el que las leyes y códigos de lo racional no funcionan, y es el subconsciente el que se manifiesta; no deja de ser un territorio de conflicto y control. Para distintas culturas, el mundo de lo onírico es universo tan palpable con el mundo de la vigilia en el que se materializa lo que entendemos, en occidente, como realidad.
Para Shamanes, personas de conocimiento y otros sujetos que se comunican con los mundos invisibles, el estado del sueno es un universo lleno de información, no solo personal sino también colectiva.

Esta exposición, que surge de los trabajos de Gloria Sebastián Fierro y Julián Dupont, quienes utilizan los sueños como material de contacto e investigación, es un intento de explorar las relaciones de sus prácticas y su intención de generar un contacto mas sensible entre todos los seres y múltiples realidades que son posibles de habitar.
