Material 2026
Desire, joy, and the experience of the body have always been part of art. Today, in a world marked by social and political tension, pleasure takes on new meaning. It becomes a way of thinking, feeling, and resisting—a quiet but powerful gesture rooted in the body.
The six artists brought together in this exhibition explore pleasure, sex, and the body from different perspectives. Their works move between the personal and the collective, the playful and the critical, inviting us to see these experiences as spaces for imagination, agency, and change.
What makes this presentation special is a shared attention to everyday experience, transformed into visual and spatial language. Through intimate, social, and emotional registers, these practices reflect on how we create meaning, memory, and identity—and how we inhabit the world around us.
