Two of the most visionary curators with the most refreshing look on the Latin American scene, Manuela Moscoso and Catalina Lozano, were in charge of selecting the 15 artist projects, commercially represented by a gallery, who participate in this section. Gathered at the show “Merge with the light, become one with the dust”, these works of art that reflect on the relationship between form and background and individual and context, are projects that contrast or relate these ideas as a complex interchange between the general and the specific. The selected artists question the ideas that simplify, in a dual division, the relationship of the fund as a neutral element as opposed to the action of the human figure.

Among the works that will be seen in Projects, you can find paintings that overflow the two-dimensional format and become three-dimensional sculptural pieces, natural fabrics used with post-industrial techniques, videos that refute the vision of the Latin American landscape from the United States or Europe and objects that challenge the limits of space by raising the wall at the same time as limit and as object.
