ARTBO 2024

This year, Instituto de Visión celebrates its tenth anniversary. Led by women, it is dedicated to exploring conceptual practices and aims to investigate artistic discourses that have been excluded from the official art narrative. Through its Visionarios program, it has recovered valuable archives from the mid-20th-century Latin American art scene and continues to explore the region’s most intriguing practices.

With a dual focus, it also represents some of the most significant artistic expressions from Latin America. Instituto de Visión places special emphasis on female voices, queer theory, environmental activism, displacement dynamics, and other critical perspectives that challenge the status quo.
