As a multidisciplinary artist working in installation, Carmen Argote explores notions of home and place. Interacting with architecture to reflect on personal histories and her own immigrant experience, Argote works with the places and materials that surround her, utilizing local resources as points to expand from. Using the act of inhabiting as a starting point, Argote allows the work to take form as she responds to a space, to materials and ideas developing from her own experiences and relationships to a specfic site.

Lina Mazenett and David Quiroga have been working in Bogotá as a collective for the past nine years. Their central interest is the temporality of matter. They work with materials of fossil origin such as as tar, pitch, coal and a diversity of minerals. These materials do not only have a particular symbology, but a huge condensed energy accumulated with time. Very present in our daily life, they connect humans to remote geological times.

Santiago Reyes Villaveces’ work responds to an inquiry, obsession, fascination, and pleasure for the structures, assemblages and dynamics that evidence the state of transitivity and precariousness -the state of temporal indetermination. The works transform, determine, modify and interfere with the space in which they operate; they affect the way the spectator occupies and perceive the physical and social space where the work exists.
