As we celebrate ten years of Instituto de Visión, it is an honor for us and our artists to be part of the Galleries and Kabinett sections, presenting a selection of works that fills us with pride.
On this occasion, we aim to highlight our program by exploring themes that have been foundational to our history: the body, understood as a territory of resistance—not only as a source of pleasure and enjoyment, but also as a space for reclamation; nature, not as an abstract idea or distant landscape, but as a vital extension of our existence; and ancestral knowledge, seen not as a relic of the past, but as a living technology essential for healing and transformation.
Our goal is to create a booth that challenges outdated historical and cultural paradigms while providing a space for reflection and illumination. In times like these, it is crucial to celebrate and spread hope, offering new ways of thinking and fresh possibilities for action.
