Los artistas no dudaron en expresar su apoyo en el pasado acuerdo de paz en Colombia. El Instituto de Visión fue uno de los espacios comprometidos en señalar un futuro colombiano antiviolento. Los cofundadores María Wills y Beatriz López coincidieron en que el arte tiene el potencial, y en gran medida la responsabilidad, de influir en la política. De ahí la importancia para ellas, así como para muchos otros artistas, de comprometerse con un mensaje claro dirigido a la sociedad colombiana.

Instituto de Visión was one of the spaces committed in pointing at an antiviolent Colombian future. Cofounders María Wills and Beatriz López agreed that art has the potential, and to a large extent the responsability, to influence politics, hence the importance for them, as well as many other artists, in committing with a clear message directed towards Colombian society.
